Aside from Roy Oswalt and Josh Hamilton, there is a little more Rangers news out there.
Derek Holland said that he has improved from a stomach ailment that affected him during his last start, which he won after working 7 1/3 innings. He said it wasn't a problem Friday and won't be Wednesday against Seattle.
Adrian Beltre said his left hamstring continues to improve, though he said he doesn't know how strong it is because he's afraid to test it too much. He remains in manage-it mode, but isn't having any issues defensively or at the plate. Just the bases.
Hamilton, for those who haven't checked the lineup blog post, said he is playing tonight even though he feels no better than he did Monday, when he was given the day off. Manager Ron Washington was planning to monitor Hamilton during batting practice and throughout the game. If Hamilton shows any signs that he can't go, Washington plans to remove him.
Alexi Ogando's right hand is OK two days after it was struck by a line drive.
