The Texas Rangers are coming off a six-game road trip and a stretch of 20 games in 20 days in which they went 10-10. They return home on Friday with three-game series against Toronto and Seattle.
All reserved tickets have been sold out for the Toronto series except for a limited number of obstructed view and scattered single seats. In addition, more than 2,000 standing room only tickets remain for each game of the series.
The Rangers have gone 11-9 so far at home, and here are the highlights for the upcoming homestand:
May 25-27 vs. Toronto: The Blue Jays make their only trip to Texas this weekend. Friday is a night game followed by 2:05 p.m. contests on Saturday and Sunday. PGA Tour professional Jason Dufner, who won the 2012 HP Byron Nelson Championship, will throw out the first pitch on Friday. ... On Saturday, there is a pre-game concert by Casting Crowns at noon on the north lawn.
May 28-29 vs. Seattle: The Rangers face the Mariners for the second time in a week with three night games. On Monday -- Memorial Day -- the National Anthem will be performed by the 531st Air Force Band Brass Quintet. On Wednesday, Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo will throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
