Alexi Ogando had an MRI today on the groin injury that forced him out of Sunday's game. However, the test results won't be read until tonight by team physician Keith Meister, and an announcement whether Ogando will land on the disabled list isn't expected until Tuesday.
Ogando was starting for the first time of the season, as Derek Holland landed on the disabled list with shoulder fatigue.
Here are a few other notes from Monday:
* High A Myrtle Beach right-handers Cody Buckel and Randy Henry, along with Double A Frisco's Mike Olt and Engel Beltre were announced as the winners for the club's minor league awards for May. Buckel was named pitcher of the month, Hendry was reliever of the month, Olt was player of the month and Beltre was defender of the month.
* The Rangers also announed they had agreed to terms with two players from this year's First-Year Player Draft. Right-hander Ryan Harvey, an 18th rounder from Seton Hall, and right-hander Brandon Kuter, a 29th rounder from George Mason, reached deals. The Rangers have now agreed with 20 of their 43 selections.
