SAN FRANCISCO -- Matt Harrison tossed a five-hit shutout, Ian Kinsler and Josh Hamilton homered, and Craig Gentry went 5 for 5 with two RBIs as the Rangers snapped an 11-game losing streak at AT&T Park with a 5-0 victory over San Francisco.
Harrison recorded 18 groundball outs, and only three balls reached the outfield in his fourth career complete game and third career shutout.
Kinsler started the game with a homer off Barry Ziton on the second pitch, and Hamilton launched his 22nd homer of the season but first of June in the third. Gentry's five-hit game was two more than his previous career-best.
The Rangers, who had nine hits in the final two games at Oakland, had nine through six innings and finished with 14. All eight position players collected a hit, and Harrison contributed two sacrifice bunts. One moved Gentry to second ahead of Kinsler's RBI single. Gentry drove in the Rangers' final run with a single to right in the ninth.
Harrison (8-3) is tied for the league lead in victories and has won four straight starts. The Giants had one base runner get to second base, but Zito overran slid through the bag and was tagged out to end the fourth.
