A day after being named to the American League All-Star team, Rangers left-hander Matt Harrison was voted AL pitcher of the month for June.
Harrison went 5-0 with a 1.29 ERA over six starts in June, including a complete-game shutout. He picked up his 11th win, as well, tied for the most in the American League.
It's the first monthly honor for Harrison in his career.
