Yu Darvish last man standing on AL staff

Justin Verlander is expected to throw two innings in the All-Star Game tonight followed by David Price and Jered Weaver, American League manager Ron Washington said.

Those are the only three pitchers Washington revealed, although he said Yu Darvish will be "the last man standing." That means Darvish would likely be used only in an extra inning game.

Washington didn't reveal who would close out a game in a save situation, although he hinted it could by Fernando Rodney.

Washington said he would prefer to stay away from Felix Hernandez and Jake Peavy, who have pitched recently.
