Monday's pregame Rangers notes

Ryan Dempster is on the active roster again after missing the weekend series at Toronto because of a personal issue. Leonys Martin is back with Triple A Round Rock. Manager Ron Washington said that Dempster threw during the weekend and shouldn't have any rust tonight against Baltimore.

Catcher Mike Napoli said that his right quad feels good, so good that ran with some speed on a treadmill today. He said that he was going to meet with Dr. Keith Meister tonight. Napoli expects to be activated from the disabed list on the first day he is eligible, Sunday.

Right-hander Colby Lewis, out for the season after having elbow surgery last month, was expecting to begin stretching exercises today. Lewis hopes to get to the point in his rehab where he will be allowed to travel with the club down the stretch.

Washington hopes that the Rangers will again have a four-man bench once Napoli and Koji Uehara return from the disabled list. Uehara could be ready later this week.
