Saturday's Twins-Rangers lineups: Mitch Moreland faces a lefty

Manager Ron Washington has seen Mitch Moreland swing a hot bat of late, so the left-handed-hitting first baseman is getting a chance Saturday to face a left-handed pitcher. The lineup decision doesn't mean that Moreland suddenly is an everyday player, but he could earn more playing time against lefties with a good game today against Brian Duensing in the same way David Murphy has earned everyday privileges.

Twins lineup vs. RHP Ryan Dempster: Denard Span, cf; Ben Revere, rf; Joe Mauer, dh; Josh Willingham, lf; Justin Morneau, 1b; Ryan Doumit, c; Trevor Plouffe, 3b; Jamey Carroll, 2b; Pedro Florimon, ss.

Rangers lineup vs. LHP Brian Duensing: Ian Kinsler, 2b; Elvis Andrus, ss; Josh Hamilton, lf; Adrian Beltre, 3b; Nelson Cruz, dh; David Murphy, rf; Geovany Soto, c; Craig Gentry, cf; Mitch Moreland, 1b.
