Sunday pregame Rangers notes: Koji Uehara back from DL

The Rangers made a roster move Sunday morning, reinstating Koji Uehara from the disabled list and optioning Tanner Scheppers to Triple A Round Rock. Uehara has been sidelined since June because of a strained right lat, but he worked two scoreless outings last week for Round Rock. Scheppers will be back on the Rangers' roster once Round Rock's season ends Sept. 3.

Mike Olt is expected to be in the Rangers' lineup Monday against Cy Young candidate David Price after dealing with plantar fasciitis the past 10 days. Olt said his right heel feels as if it is bruised, but it has shown improvement the past few days.

Yu Darvish threw a bullpen session Sunday morning, and manager Ron Washington declared that the right-hander will make his next start Tuesday. Darvish was skipped Thursday after suffering tightness in his quadriceps Tuesday during a bullpen session.
