Adrian Beltre has left tonight's game with a left shoulder strain.
It appeared that Beltre initially came down with the injury in the second inning when he made a diving stop on a sharp grounder by Cleveland Indians' designated hitter Russ Canzler in the second inning.
Beltre played through the fourth, and the television broadcast showed Beltre attempting to talk manager Ron Washington into letting him stay in the game.
Beltre went 1 for 1 with a two-run homer in the first inning, and drew a walk in the third inning.
Mike Olt replaced Beltre at third base.
