ARLINGTON -- Texas Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre left Game 2 of Sunday's doubleheader with a re-aggravation of a left shoulder strain.
Beltre was pulled after he extended his arm trying to snag a hard hit liner by Mark Trumbo in the seventh inning. The Rangers said Beltre initially injured it in the eighth inning of Game 1 when he made a diving stop.
Beltre has been bothered by an intestinal issue of late that is believed to be related to scar tissue from appendix surgery 11 years ago.
