Friday's Rangers-Mariners lineups: No Adrian Beltre

The lineup that manager Ron Washington put together Friday for the Rangers is the same as the one he submitted Thursday before Adrian Beltre declared himself fit to play. That means Jurickson Profar is in a second base, but he won't be knocked out because Beltre won't be at Safeco Field in time for the opener against Seattle. Beltre was scheduled to undergo more tests Friday morning in Los Angeles. Josh Hamilton returned to Texas on Friday morning for test with the Rangers' doctors.

Rangers lineup vs. LHP Hisashi Iwakuma: Ian Kinsler, dh; Elvis Andrus, ss; Michael Young, 3b; Nelson Cruz, rf; David Murphy, lf; Geovany Soto, c; Mitch Moreland, 1b; Craig Gentry, cf; Jurickson Profar, 2b.

Mariners lineup vs. LHP Martin Perez: Dustin Ackley, 2b; Franklin Gutierrez, cf; Kyle Seager, 3b; Jesus Montero, dh; Justin Smoak, 1b; Michael Saunders, lf; Miguel Olivo, c; Casper Wells, rf; Carlos Triunfel, ss.
