Labor Day Rangers-Royals lineups: No Jurickson Profar

Ian Kinsler told manager Ron Washington that his back is fine, so Washington put Ian Kinsler back in the Rangers' lineup for the opener of a four-game series at Kansas City. Kinsler sat Sunday in Cleveland, and Jurickson Profar made his first major-league start. He homered and doubled in his first two at-bats. Washington said that Profar will play again this month, but if Kinsler and Elvis Andrus are healthy, Profar will sit.

Rangers lineup vs. LHP Bruce Chen: Ian Kinsler, 2b; Elvis Andrus, ss; Josh Hamilton, cf; Adrian Beltre, 3b; Nelson Cruz, rf; Michael Young, dh; David Murphy, lf; Geovany Soto, c; Mike Olt, 1b.

Royals lineup vs. RHP Yu Darvish: David Lough, rf; Tomy Abreau, ss; Alex Gordon, lf; Billy Butler, dh; Mike Moustakas, 3b; Lorenzo Cain, cf; Eric Hosmer, 1b; Brayan Pena, c; Johnny Giavotella, 2b.
