Andrus, Beltre and Murphy finalists for Gold Gloves

The Texas Rangers had three players named as finalists for 2012 American League Gold Gloves on Monday.

Shortstop Elvis Andrus, third baseman Adrian Beltre and left fielder David Murphy were selected as finalists. The Gold Glove winners for both leagues will be announced on Tuesday at 8 p.m. on ESPN2.

Beltre won the Gold Glove at third base last season, and also won it in 2007 and 2008 with the Seattle Mariners. Andrus and Murphy have never won a Gold Glove.

Along with Beltre, Mike Moustakas of the Kansas City Royals and Brandon Inge of the Oakland Athletics were also finalists at third base.

At shortstop, Andrus is joined by J.J. Hardy of the Baltimore Orioles and Brendan Ryan of the Mariners.

The left field candidates include Murphy, Alex Gordon of the Royals and Desmond Jennings of the Tampa Bay Rays.
