Monday's Rangers-A's lineups: Adrian Betlre is in

Adrian Beltre said his left shoulder is fine, so he's in the Rangers' lineup Monday as the designated hitter as they try to clinch the AL West title with a win over Oakland. Beltre said that his shoulder, which he injured in the ninth inning of Game 1 of the doubleheader Sunday, feels better today. He left Game 2 after jumping for a Mark Trumbo line drive that went in and out of his glove and knocked the glove off his hand.

"I was feeling it the whole game," Beltre said. "I am ready today. It's October. I'm sure everybody's got something they're going through."

Michael Young, who also left early Sunday, said that his left Achilles tendon is sore but better. He exited because he felt his range would have been limited with the Rangers trying to protect a lead.
