Rangers selling wild card tickets

With Wednesday's loss to the Oakland Athletics, the Texas Rangers fell into one of two wild card slots in the American League playoffs.

The Rangers could host the one-game, winner-take-all series on Friday if the Orioles lose tonight against the Rays. If the Orioles win, the Rangers would be the road team at either Baltimore or New York Yankees.

The game is scheduled to start at 7:37 p.m. CT.

Fans interested in purchasing tickets can do so now by going to www.texasrangers.com/postseason. If the Orioles lose tonight, the Rangers Ballpark west box office will be open from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Thursday.
