Josh Hamilton strikes out twice after Pujols walked intentionally

The Angels' Josh Hamilton has struck out twice Saturday after the Texas Rangers elected to walk No. 3 hitter Albert Pujols intentionally and pitch to Hamilton.

Both times first base was open and the walk put two runners on base with two outs. But Rangers starter Matt Harrison fanned Hamilton to end the second inning and the fourth.

After the Angels scored  a run in the second off Harrison to build their lead to 5-0, the Rangers closed the gap in the third on solo home runs by Mitch Moreland and Ian Kinsler.

The jet stream appeared to be in full effect at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington for the late-afternoon game.
