Thursday's Rangers-Mariners lineups

Manager Ron Washington has stuck with the standard lineup against a right-handed pitcher Thursday for the opener at Seattle, which is starting no ordinary righty. But the Rangers' lineup isn't without hitters who have had success against Felix Hernandez. David Murphy (.302) and Elvis Andrus (.314) have the best averages over the most at-bats. Leonys Martin is 2 for 5 against Hernandez, and Lance Berkman is 2 for 3.

Rangers lineup vs. Felix Hernandez: Ian Kinsler, 2b; Elvis Andrus, ss; Lance Berkman, dh; Adrian Beltre, 3b; David Murphy, lf; Nelson Cruz, rf; A.J. Pierzynski, c; Mitch Moreland, 1b; Leonys Martin, cf.

Mariners lineup vs. RHP Justin Grimm: Franklin Gutierrez, cf; Kyle Seager, 3b; Kendrys Morales, dh; Michael Morse, rf; Raul Ibanez, lf; Justin Smoak, 1b; Jesus Montero, c; Robert Andino, 2b; Brendan Ryan, ss.
