Tuesday's Rangers-Astros lineups: Craig Gentry starts in center

Manager Ron Washington wants to get every Rangers player on the field before the next road trip, and he took a step toward that Tuesday by putting center fielder Craig Gentry in the Rangers' starting lineup. Gentry, of course, is likely to play multiple times before the Rangers head to Seattle and Chicago on Aug. 11-18, but it's noteworthy that he's starting against Astros right-hander Lucas Harrell. Gentry hit .277 against righties last year.

Rangers lineup vs. RHP Lucas Harrell: Ian Kinsler, 2b; Elvis Andrus, ss; Lance Berkman, dh; Adrian Beltre, 3b; David Murphy, lf; Nelson Cruz, rf; A.J. Pierzynski, c; Mitch Moreland, 1b; Craig Gentry, cf.

Astros lineup vs. RHP Yu Darvish: Jose Altuve, 2b; Brett Wallace, 3b; Carlos Pena, 1b; Chris Carter, lf; Rick Ankiel, rf; Justin Maxwell, cf; Jason Castro, dh; Carlos Corporan, c; Marwin Gonzalez, ss.
