Rangers-D'backs postponed

The Texas Rangers have postponed their game against the Arizona Diamondbacks tonight due to unplayable conditions.

The decision was made after Rangers manager Ron Washington, CEO Nolan Ryan and Diamondbacks manager Kirk Gibson walked the field and determined it would not be ready to play.

The game will not be made up on Thursday as a doubleheader, instead on a mutually agreed upon future date.

The Rangers rotation is pushed back a day. Justin Grimm will start Thursday's game, with Derek Holland, Nick Tepesch and Yu Darvish scheduled to start the three-game series against the Royals this weekend.
