Today's Rangers-Astros lineups

Nelson Cruz and Ian Kinsler aren't in today's starting lineup, as they are getting the day off.

David Murphy is scheduled to start in leftfield, but he'll see how his back feels during batting practice. He slammed his back into the left-field wall last night but stayed in the game.

It's an unusual looking lineup as of now, though, as Craig Gentry is slated to make his first start in the six hole. Leury Garcia, meanwhile, is playing second and batting second, and Leonys Martin is set for his first start this season in right.

RHP Nick Tepesch (2-3, 5.40 ERA)
