Rangers All-Star ballot update

MLB has released its first figures in the American League All-Star voting, and a handful of Texas Rangers are on it.

Shortstop Elvis Andrus is the only Rangers player leading his respective position, as he has 727,555 votes, about 10,000 more than Orioles shortstop J.J. Hardy (717,103) in what is the closest race at this point.

Voting continues at MLB parks through June 28, and fans can vote online at MLB.com until July 4. The 84th All-Star Game will be played July 16 at Citi Field in New York.
