Wednesday's A's-Rangers lineups: Nelson Cruz bats third

Manager Ron Washington was all about the hot hand Wednesday while making out the Rangers' lineup. Nelson Cruz, 10-for-33 the past 10 games, is in the No. 3 spot for the first time since 2010, and Leonys Martin (8-for-22) is in center field vs. A's lefty Tommy Milone rather than Craig Gentry (4-for-35). Asked if he envisions a scenario in which Lance Berkman returns to the No. 3 hole, Washington said "of course."
