Friday's Orioles-Rangers lineups: Nelson Cruz out with migraine

The Rangers will open the second half without their lone All-Star position player in the lineup. Nelson Cruz was scratched from the lineup with a migraine headache, though the right fielder tried to convince manager Ron Washington to wait until game time before making a final call. Washington, though, said he didn't want to run Cruz out there and possible risk something worse. So, the Rangers' outfield against Baltimore is ... Jurickson Profar in left, Craig Gentry in center and Leonys Martin in right.

Orioles lineup vs. LHP Derek Holland: Nate McLouth, lf; Manny Machado, 3b; Nick Markakis, rf; Adam Jones, cf; Chris Davis, 1b; J.J. Hardy, ss; Matt Wieters, c; Danny Valencia, dh; Brian Roberts, 2b.

Rangers lineup vs. LHP Wei-Yin Chen: Ian Kinsler, 2b; Elvis Andrus, ss; A.J. Pierzynski, c; Adrian Beltre, 3b; Jeff Baker, dh; Mitch Moreland, 1b; Craig Gentry, cf; Jurickson Profar, lf; Leonys Martin, rf.
