Saturday's Rangers-Tigers lineups: Leonys Martin climbs to No. 2 spot

A big change in the Rangers' lineup has taken place Saturday as center fielder Leonys Martin jumps from the No. 9 spot in the lineup to second, alleviating David Murphy of that duty against right-handed pitchers. Martin is batting .291 compared to .217 for Murphy, who went hitless in the No. 2 hole Friday in a 7-2 loss. He struck out in the fourth with the bases loaded and two outs after the Rangers had already plated two runs. It's Martin's first career start anywhere higher than No. 7 in a lineup.

Rangers lineup vs. RHP Max Scherzer: Ian Kinsler, 2b; Leonys Martin, cf; Nelson Cruz, rf; Adrian Beltre, 3b; A.J. Pierzynski, c; Elvis Andrus, ss; Mitch Moreland, 1b; Jurickson Profar, dh; David Murphy, lf.
