Wednesday's Yankees-Rangers lineups: Elvis Andrus bats second

The ever-revolving No. 2 spot in the Rangers' lineup has shuffled back to Elvis Andrus, but that's no surprise. The Yankees are starting a left-hander, and manager Ron Washington has said that the right-handed-hitting shortstop will bat second against lefties. A lefty also means that Jeff Baker is in left field and Craig Gentry is in right. Another right-handed batter, Geovany Soto, catches former teammate Matt Garza in his Rangers debut.

Yankees lineup vs. RHP Matt Garza: Brett Gardner, cf; Ichiro Suzuki, rf; Robinson Cano, 2b; Lyle Overbay, 1b; Vernon Wells, dh; Eduardo Nunez, ss; Brent Lillibridge, 3b; Mekly Mesa, lf; Chris Stewart, c.

Rangers lineup vs. LHP Andy Pettitte: Ian Kinsler, 2b; Elvis Andrus, ss; Nelson Cruz, rf; Adrian Beltre, 3b; A.J. Pierzynski, dh; Jeff Baker, lf; Mitch Moreland, 1b; Geovany Soto, c; Craig Gentry, cf.
