Today's Rangers-Astros lineups: Jeff Baker starts at first again

Jeff Baker is back in the Rangers lineup at first base for a second consecutive game with the Astros starting a left-hander.

Manager Ron Washington didn't say first base is now a platoon position between Baker and Mitch Moreland, but said that's the best position to get Baker at-bats against lefties.

Baker, who went 1 for 3 with a walk Sunday, said he is beginning to get his timing back at the plate after missing a month with a right thumb sprain.
