Friday's A's-Rangers lineups: Jim Adduci starts again

Seeking an extra left-handed hitter who might provide a spark for the opener of a three-game series against division-leading Oakland, manager Ron Washington picked Jim Adduci to start in left field and put David Murphy at designated hitter over Jurickson Profar. The Rangers have four right-handed bats atop the lineup, followed by the lefty hitters. Adduci is batting .300 in extremely limited action since making his major-league debut earlier this month.
