Sunday's Rangers-Angels lineups: Ian Kinsler batting first

Ian Kinsler is back atop the Rangers' lineup Sunday as manager Ron Washington continues to shuffle the batting order in hopes of ironing out the offense's woes. Left-hander Jason Vargas, the Angels' starter, led to the shuffle, which also includes Alex Rios batting third for the first time since joining the Rangers.

The right-handed bats of Jeff Baker, Geovany Soto and Craig Gentry are also in the lineup. The left-handed-hitting Leonys Martin had been the Rangers' leadoff hitter until Saturday, when he was moved to the bottom of the lineup in the hopes of getting him back in sync. Jurickson Profar replaced him.

Kinsler in the leadoff spot could very well be a one-day thing, with the Pirates starting a right-hander Monday. But they will throw a lefty Tuesday.
