Tuesday's Astros-Rangers lineup: Geovany Soto catching Yu Darvish

Manager Ron Washington refuses to anoint Geovany Soto as Yu Darvish's personal catcher, but they are together again Tuesday as against the Astros. The statistical differences between Soto and A.J. Pierzynski with Pierzynski are minimal, but Soto has been throwing to Darvish since he shooshed away Pierzynski as he came to the mound Sept. 4 at Oakland. "This is Soto's chance to play," Washington said.

Astros lineup vs. RHP Yu Darvish: Jonathan Villar, ss; Jose Altuve, 2b; Marc Krauss, lf; Matt Dominguez, 3b; Chris Carter, dh; Trevor Crowe, rf; Brett Wallace, 1b; Carlos Corporan, c; Brandon Barnes, cf.

Rangers lineup vs. RHP Brad Peacock: Ian Kinsler, 2b; Elvis Andrus, ss; Alex Rios, rf; Adrian Beltre, 3b; A.J. Pierzynski, dh; Geovany Soto, c; Mitch Moreland, 1b; Craig Gentry, lf; Leonys Martin, cf.
