Wednesday's Rangers-A's lineups: One more without Elvis Andrus

Elvis Andrus arrived to O.co Coliseum on Wednesday morning expecting to play in the finale of the Rangers series against Oakland. Manager Ron Washington, though, didn't want to throw Andrus in the lineup without seeing him taking grounders at shortstop, so Andrus is out of the lineup for a fourth straight game with stiffness in his lower back. With an off day Thursday, Andrus will likely return to open a three-game weekend series at Anaheim.

Washington also gave David Murphy a day off, opting for Craig Gentry, and Lance Berkman is on the bench as Jim Adduci makes his second major-league start.
