Three newcomers to the 2009 PGA Tour with Dallas-Fort Worth connections _ Greg Chalmers, Colt Knost, and Scott Gutschewski _ will make their season debut’s in Thursday’s opening round of the Sony Open in Hawaii.
All three earned 2009 tour cards by finishing among the Top 25 money winners on the 2008 Nationwide Tour. Chalmers, a Colleyville resident, finished eighth. Knost, a Dallas resident and former SMU golfer, was sixth. Gutschewski, a Prosper resident who played college golf at Nebraska, was 21st.
