Kenny Perry, a two-time Colonial champ and the No. 10 player in the world golf rankings, joined four Tarrant County residents today on a list of 61 players who have committed to compete in the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial, May 25-31 in Fort Worth.
Other notable early commitments came from Paul Casey, Justin Leonard, Zach Johnson, Davis Love III, Boo Weekley, J.B. Holmes, Sean O’Hair and David Toms. Defending champ Phil Mickelson, the No. 5 player in the world rankings, has yet to make an official commitment but has publicly stated plans to defend his title.
