Danny Lee, winner of the 2008 U.S. Amateur, has accepted a sponsor’s exemption to compete in the HP Byron Nelson Championship, May 18-24 in Irving. Lee, 18, turned professional after his appearance at the 2009 Masters. He became the youngest-ever winner of a European Tour event in February, when Lee won the 2009 Johnnie Walker Classic while competing as an amateur.
