Two players from Oklahoma State, Rickie Fowler and Morgan Hoffmann, are among 10 semifinalists for the 2009 Ben Hogan Award, given to the nation’s top college golfer.
Other semifinalists announced today include Indiana’s Jorge Campillo, Alabama’s Bud Cauley, Southern California’s Matthew Giles, Florida’s Billy Horschel, Clemson’s Kyle Stanley, Washington’s Nick Taylor, Georgia Tech’s Cameron Tringale and Marquette’s Mike Van Sickle.
The list of candidates will be trimmed to three finalists on May 7, with a live announcement of the winner on May 22 at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth. Fowler was the 2008 recipient.
