David Feherty, a CBS golf analyst known for his wit and Irish accent, has become a U.S. citizen. Feherty, 51, officially became a U.S. citizen during a ceremony Tuesday at the New Citizenship and Immigration Building in Irving. Friends and family members followed the ceremony with a surprise party that included Tom Watson, a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame, among the invited guests. Feherty, a Dallas resident and native of Northern Ireland, played for the European team in the 1991 Ryder Cup. _ Jimmy Burch
