Officials at the HP Byron Nelson Championship will honor three junior golfers during next month’s PGA Tour event, May 17-23 in Irving. Dallas resident Jordan Spieth will join Yaroslav Merkulov of Penfield, N.Y. and Bobby Wyatt of Mobile, Ala. as 2010 recipients of the Byron Nelson International Junior Golf Awards.
Spieth, the reigning U.S. Junior Amateur champion, also has received a sponsor’s exemption to compete in the tournament.
