Labor Day weekend approaches, which means the arrival of Patriot Golf Day.
The four-day event (Sept. 3-6), supported by the PGA of America and the U.S. Golf Association, helps to fund scholarships to children and spouses of military men and women killed or disabled in the line of duty through the Folds of Honor Foundation.
Participating courses accept donations from golfers throughout the four-day weekend. Golfers are asked to donate at least $1 per round during the four-day event. In the D-FW area, more than 30 courses will participate. For a full list, visit the website PlayGolfAmerica.com.
