The Ryan Palmer Foundation Healing Garden, made possible by a donation from Colleyville resident and PGA Tour competitor Ryan Palmer, opened Sept. 17 in Amarillo. Palmer, an Amarillo native and former Texas A&M golfer, donated $100,000 to the project in December. The healing garden, located at Children’s Hospital at Northwest Texas Healthcare System, features a five-hole putting green, play area, water feature and flower gardens.
