Nick Taylor, winner of the 2010 Ben Hogan Award given to the nation’s top college golfer, captured a unique professional title today: he won the Bacardi National Par-3 Championship in Bermuda.
Taylor, who won last year’s Hogan Award during his senior year at Washington, finished at 3-over par to claim the professional division title at the two-day event. Taylor has accepted a sponsor’s exemption to compete in the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial, May 16-22 in Fort Worth.
