A total of 20 Texans will be among the 72 international competitors at the 2011 Kathy Whitworth Invitational, a high-profile junior girls event that will be held March 13-15 at Mira Vista Country Club in Fort Worth.
The list of international competitors includes golfers from Taiwan, Canada, the Czech Republic, Israel, Italy and China. In addition to Texas, there will be U.S.-based competitors from Florida, Wisconsin, California, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Washington, Missouri, Indiana, Alabama, Illinois, Arizona, South Carolina, Oregon, Arkansas, Georgia, Ohio, Maryland, New Jersey and Tennessee.
Entrants from Texas include: Lakareber Abe, Tezira Abe, Emily Campbell, Talia Campbell, Grace Choi, Marissa Dodd, Courtney Ferguson, Christine Lin, Kaci McCartan, April McCoy, Taylor Moreno, Maggie Neece, Jennifer Park, Kayli Quinton, Carly Ragains, Callie Scheffler, Marianna Sims, Sierra Sims, Maddie Szeryk and Shelby Wilson.
