Pavin becomes seventh past champ from Champions Tour to join 2011 Colonial field

Corey Pavin, a two-time Colonial champion, added his name today to the commitment list for the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial, May 16-22 in Fort Worth. Pavin, 51, becomes the seventh past Colonial champion who competes regularly on the Champions Tour to join the 2011 field. The Champions Tour has no event for 50-and-over participants during Colonial week on this year’s calendar. Pavin, the 2010 U.S. Ryder Cup captain, finished tied for seventh at last year’s tournament.
