Tarrant golf teams to meet for conference title

The Tarrant County Conference title will be on the line Sunday, May 1 in matches between teams of amateur golfers from two local courses. The team from Tierra Verde, the defending league champ, will host the team from Hawks Creek.

The winner moves on to the state finals at Horseshoe Bay Resort, May 20-22, in quest of the 2011 State League Play title. The event is run by the Texas Golf Association.
