Second-round play is under way at the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial under overcast skies, with temperatures of 76 degrees.
The top names on the leader board have not changed. But the biggest early morning move has come from Kris Blanks, who's 3-under par through three holes this morning to reach 4-under par for the tournament. Three golfers are 2-under in their early stages of today's second round (Westlake resident Brandt Jobe, David Frost, Fredrik Jacobson), all of them moving to 2-under for the tournament as well.
Fort Wort resident Rory Sabbatini is 1-under through two holes and 3-under for the tournament.
Co-leaders David Toms and Chez Reavie, who slept on the overnight lead at 8-under, are not scheduled to tee off until this afternoon.
The extended forecast for today calls for a 70 percent chance of rain, starting this afternoon.
