Garcia, Herron join Colonial field

A pair of past Colonial champions, Sergio Garcia and Tim Herron, have joined the field for the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial, May 16-22 in Fort Worth. Both golfers made their official commitments today.

Garcia, the 2001 champion, will be making his first appearance in Fort Worth since 2005. Herron, the 2006 champ, will be making his 13th consecutive Colonial appearance.


In other tournament news, Jamie Lovemark withdrew from the field because of a back injury.
