Parking: Public parking at former Texas Stadium site (Red Lot) for $10 daily, beginning Wednesday. Cost includes round-trip shuttle bus service to and from the Four Seasons. Shuttles begin at 6 a.m. each day and run until 90 minutes after the conclusion of play on Wednesday and Sunday. Final shuttle leaves at 10 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, after the conclusion of post-round concerts. Free parking available Monday and Tuesday in the courseside lot on Byron Nelson Way.
Tournament highlights: Monday _ Champions Pro-Am, TPC Four Seasons; Celebrity-Am, Vaquero Club in Westlake (not a spectator event). Tuesday _ Practice rounds (all day); Opening ceremony, noon. (Ceremony includes presentation of Byron Nelson Prize to Deane Beman); Youth golf clinic, 5 p.m., TPC practice range. Wednesday _ Gold Pro-Am, TPC Four Seasons. Thursday-Sunday _ Tournament rounds. Free admission on Monday and Tuesday. Tickets will be needed Wednesday through Sunday.
Pavilion post-round live music: Thursday _ After play ends until 9:30 p.m.; Friday _ After play ends until 9:30 p.m.; Saturday _ After play ends until 9:30 p.m.
KidsZone: The interactive area with activities and video game stations for children will be open Thursday-Sunday. Daily hours, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Television: Thursday-Friday rounds (Golf Channel, 2-5 p.m.). Saturday-Sunday rounds (CBS, 2-5 p.m.).
Spectator notes: Under PGA Tour guidelines, cell phones are allowed on the course but must be set on silent. Other usage restrictions apply, with information available at the course. Mobile devices cannot be used as a camera during tournament rounds (Thursday-Sunday). The following items are prohibited on the course: backpacks, large purses, large camera cases, outside alcoholic beverages, coolers, ladders, signs. Cameras are not permitted Thursday-Sunday. These items will be confiscated if brought to the tournament. All small purses and bags are subject to search.
Notable: The Nelson field includes five of the Top 20 players from the world golf rankings: Matt Kuchar, Dustin Johnson, Nick Watney, Westlake resident K.J. Choi and Fort Worth resident Jason Day, the defending champ.
