Rory Sabbatini, Charlie Wi surge into Colonial tie for first at 8 under

Rory Sabbatini is 6 under for the day through 15 holes Friday and  he and Charlie Wi, through 11  holes, have joined afternoon starters David Toms and Chez Reavie atop the leader board at the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth.

Rain is now forecast to reach the course sometime after 1 p.m., which would allow Sabbatini, a Fort Worth resident, and Wi to finish their rounds, reports Jimmy Burch.
