Toms leads as Colonial is in weather delay

At 2:50 Friday, the Crowne Plaza Invitial at Colonial went into a weather delay as lightning was detected in the area. Since then, heavy rain has also hit the course. Play is scheduled to resume at 5:15.

Thursday co-leader David Toms is currently leading at 12 under. He was playing the eleventh hole when play was suspended. Charlie Wi, Steven Bowditch, and Rickie Fowler are tied for second. Wi and Bowditch completed their second rounds before the inclement weather arrived, while Fowler, who had the second-to-last tee time of the day, has only played six.

Fort Worth resident Rory Sabbatini is in sole possession of fifth place after posting a 64 in his second round.
