PGA Tour officials released their 2012 schedule today, with four events shifting to new courses and the season-opening Tournament of Champions set for a Monday finish on Jan. 9.
The D-FW tour events will be held in consecutive weeks, as announced in May, with the HP Byron Nelson Championship (May 14-20) followed by the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial (May 21-27). The Nelson follows The Players Championship (May 7-13) on this year’s schedule.
The 2012 schedule includes 45 official events: 37 during the regular season, four in the FedEx Cup playoffs and four during the season-ending Fall Series.
