Mike Zinga has joined the staff at the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial as director of sales, tournament officials announced today. Zinga currently works in a sales and marketing role at the WGC-Cadillac Championship, which will be played March 8-11 in Miami. Zinga, who has more than 10 years experience working at PGA Tour events, will report to his new post in Fort Worth on March 20, said Colonial tournament director Michael Tothe. The 2012 Colonial dates are May 21-27.
